I wanted to
thank you and all of your volunteers for the flawless execution of an
organized bike ride in Tellico Plains. You obviously have done this before
and it shows!
I personally detest large organized events, with mass starts, so I did not
look forward to this one at all. Much to my surprise, the riders were kept
to a sane number, the SAG was excellent, and the rest stops were outstanding
in every way.
The scenery and the traffic control was superb. Someone even gave you
beautiful weather. Everyone was courteous even the participants, so I will
admit to coming away from it all surprised and pleased. I hope that I can
again partake of your hospitality in the future.

The roads were marked well, and the sag stops
were well supplied. Great job, it was terrific, first class all the way. I
will definitely be back next year.

Best century and most scenic I have ever
done..........period. Thanks to all volunteers, and event director.......and
to motorcycle riders.
Rider
Well, this was our first Cherohala Challenge.
We came down from the Chicago Area with our tandem for the Tennessee Tandem
Rally the weekend previous and made a week's vacation out of our trip. We
were told about the Cherohala Challenge by the triple riders. They
encouraged us to sign up for the Challenge, and that we did.
What a ride to wrap up our week! A big thank you to all the volunteers that
worked this ride and made it so incredible. A big thank you to the wonderful
riders that we rubbed elbows with throughout the day making a challenging
ride such a pleasure.
The ride was beautiful and challenging.....It's a good thing we have been
training on all the mountains we have in the Chicago area to prepare us for
this ride :) We'll have to put some suction cups on our tires and repeatedly
traipse up and down the Sears Tower & John Hancock to train for the next
time we come down! I mean, wouldn't that be the equivalent of climbing up
Joyce Kilmer and the Cherohala Skyway??
On the serious side, the Cherohala Challenge was everything and more of what
a great ride is. Thank you for the experience.
